There is no place like home and that is especially true at Christmas time.

It’s that time of year when we all have that warm fuzzy feeling. It’s a time when we open our hearts and our homes to Christmas. It’s also a time to reflect.

DNG Galvin Estate Agents have helped many families move home over the years. It is great to see so much happiness in the homes of families we have helped throughout the years.

In our Christmas video series, we talk to local home owners, including a young family who will spend their first Christmas in their new home, this is extra special as they discover where the heart of their new home is this Christmas.

We at DNG Galvin believe every house has its own unique story. For some their heart is in their living room by the Christmas tree and cosy fire. For others its walking into the entrance hall to see the staircase wrapped in garland. But the room that is at the heart of every home at Christmas is the kitchen. Families come together and that’s what home is all about – spending time with loved ones. A home is much more than bricks and mortar, it’s the people who live there and the surrounding community.

DNG Galvin has collaborated with a number of well-known Cork people in our Christmas video series, where they share what Christmas means to them and how they celebrate the festivities in their homes. We can’t deny that Christmas 2021 will be different, these are challenging times we are living in but it can still be every bit as magical. It is a time to stay safe, spend time in our homes and with our family.
